Junget was born Feb. 20, 1948, in Bridgeport, to the late William and Clara Elsie Junget Sr. He had been a Stratford resident for many years, spending his last years with the Whole Life Family in Bridgeport. He also was a Special Olympics athlete.
He is survived by his brother, Dain Junget and his wife, Rhonda; two nieces, Chantal and Nicole; two nephews, DJ and JJ and his fiancé Adrian and their son Chase.
Friends are invited to attend a celebration of his life at 7:30 p.m. Friday, Jan. 8 at with Words of Remembrances with a funeral service at 8 p.m. in the William R. McDonald Funeral Home, 2591 Main St., Stratford. Interment will be private. Friends may visit with the family from 6-7:30 p.m. Friday before the service.
Donations can be made to the Special Olympics or the Christopher Reeve Foundation.
